Originally from Hercules-- East Bay Area, Renee is a Filipina actor, educator & writer based in Brooklyn. 

Creator of original theater works Sidewalk Sisters; Nanay, Tatay, Anak; and Undressing the Fragments, Renee uses theater, hip hop, story telling, poetry & improv to transform personal narratives into creative performances not yet highlighted in society. 

Renee is a disobedient listener, feminist, dog lover, an avid (Elite) Yelper, vintage store connoisseur, critical race theorist, Special Education advocate, rapper, poet, essayist, playwright, Brooklyn College adjunct lecturer, & theater creator.
